Welcome

Welcome

If you've found your way here, you're probably looking for more than a dentist.

You're looking for someone you can trust.

Someone who will listen before speaking, explain before recommending, and treat you with honesty and respect.

For more than three decades, it has been my privilege to care for individuals and families throughout Johnstown and the surrounding communities. During that time I've watched children grow into adults, adults become parents, and parents become grandparents. One of the greatest joys of my career has been caring for multiple generations of the same families.

That trust has never been something I've expected.

It's something I've tried to earn every single day.

My Story

My Story

When I graduated from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and began practicing in Johnstown in 1992, I hoped to build more than a successful dental practice.

I wanted to become part of a community.

Looking back, I realize that this community has given me far more than I could ever give in return.

Over the years I've shared countless conversations with patients, celebrated milestones with families, helped people through emergencies, and watched generations grow up together.

Those experiences have shaped not only the way I practice dentistry, but the kind of person I've tried to become.

My Philosophy

My Philosophy

People sometimes ask me what kind of dentist I am.

My answer has never really been about procedures.

It's about people.

Every person who sits in my chair has a unique story, different concerns, different goals, and different experiences. There is no standard treatment plan because there are no standard patients.

My responsibility is to listen carefully, understand what's important to each individual, explain options honestly, and help them make informed decisions that are right for them.

I don't believe great dentistry begins with technology.

I believe it begins with trust.

"Trust isn't earned because you're a dentist. It's earned by listening, being honest, and showing people you genuinely care."

Growing Together

Growing Together

Dentistry has changed tremendously since I first began practicing.

Technology has advanced in remarkable ways. New materials, digital imaging, dental implants, laser procedures, and modern treatment techniques have transformed what's possible.

I've embraced those changes because they allow us to provide better care for our patients.

But one thing has never changed.

People still want the same things they've always wanted.

They want to be heard.

They want honest answers.

They want someone who genuinely cares about their well-being.

No advancement in dentistry will ever replace those values.

What You Can Expect From Me

What You Can Expect From Me

If we have the opportunity to meet, here is my promise to you.

I will take the time to listen.

I will explain your options in language you can understand.

I will answer your questions honestly.

I will recommend treatment based on your individual needs—not on assumptions or a predetermined formula.

And I will always treat you with the same respect and care that I would want for my own family.

Those commitments have guided me throughout my career, and they continue to guide me today.

What My Patients Have Taught Me

What My Patients Have Taught Me

After more than thirty years in practice, I've come to realize that my patients have taught me just as much as dentistry itself.

They've reminded me that trust is earned through consistency.

That kindness is never forgotten.

That people remember how you made them feel long after they forget the details of a procedure.

That every smile belongs to a person with a unique story.

Those lessons have become the foundation of my professional life.

Reflections

Reflections

There are a few thoughts that have stayed with me throughout my career.

  • The best dentistry begins long before treatment. It begins with understanding the person sitting in front of you.
  • Technology continues to improve, but integrity, compassion, and respect remain the most valuable tools I use every day.
  • One of the greatest privileges of my career has been watching children become parents and then entrusting me with the care of their own families. Those relationships are something I will always treasure.
  • After more than thirty years, I still feel humbled every time someone places their confidence in me. I never take that trust for granted.

Looking Ahead

Looking Ahead

People occasionally ask what keeps me excited after all these years.

The answer is simple.

There is always another opportunity to help someone.

Another opportunity to learn.

Another opportunity to grow.

Another opportunity to earn someone's trust.

Dentistry has given me a career filled with purpose, remarkable relationships, and countless reasons to be grateful.

For that, I will always be thankful.

A Personal Note

A Personal Note

Thank you for taking the time to visit.

Whether you've been a patient for many years or are considering our practice for the very first time, I hope you've come away with a better understanding of who I am.

I've always believed that choosing a dentist is about much more than credentials or technology.

It's about finding someone you trust.

Someone who listens.

Someone who treats you with kindness and respect.

Someone who will always put your best interests first.

For more than thirty years, it has been my privilege to serve this community and care for the people who call it home.

I remain deeply grateful for that privilege, and I look forward to earning the trust of many more families in the years ahead.

Thank you for allowing me to share a little of my story.
